**Role & seniority: ** Hardware Test Engineer (approx. 5 years experience); embedded/analog hardware testing within a hardware architecture team.

**Location & work type: ** Hybrid from Luxembourg (global collaboration with teams in Poland, Luxembourg, Portugal).

**Stack/tools (as stated): **

  • Hardware test benches

  • Test software functions (for hardware test automation)

  • EMC/EM compatibility validation support

  • Embedded systems + analog electronics (foundational knowledge)

  • Top 3 responsibilities:

    • Develop product functional test plans for compliance testing.

    • Build/maintain hardware test setups and improve test benches.

    • Perform manual functional testing and support defect management (tracking/resolution).

  • Must-have skills:

    • ~5 years automotive electronics or e-mobility hardware experience.

    • DGUV 200-006 Level 2 & 3 HV qualification (or equivalent).

    • Strong fundamentals in analog electronics and hardware embedded systems.

    • Ability to define/validate test software functions and support automation.

    • English fluency; strong communication.

  • Nice-to-haves:

    • German and/or French.

    • Experience supporting manufacturing plants during production changes.

Project You will be involved in a project focused on the development, testing, and validation of innovative eMobility and automotive hardware solutions. As a Hardware Test Engineer, you will be part of the hardware architecture team, contributing to functional hardware testing and problem-solving activities for highly competitive products. The role combines hands-on testing with continuous improvement of test environments and support for validation, manufacturing, and issue resolution processes. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure product quality, compliance, and effective defect management. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to sustainable mobility solutions while supporting the development of next-generation technologies.

Responsibilities you'll have Develop product functional test plans for compliance testing Develop hardware test setups and contribute to test bench improvements Perform manual functional testing of products on hardware test benches Contribute to the automation of hardware tests Define and validate new test software functions Track and report test progress Manage and resolve hardware defects Provide technical support for hardware environmental and electromagnetic compatibility validation Provide technical support to manufacturing plants during production changes

Expected competences and knowledge Around 5 years of experience in Automotive Electronics or e-Mobility Hardware DGUV 200-006 Level 2 & 3 HV qualification or an equivalent certification Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field Good foundational knowledge of hardware embedded systems and analog electronics Strong communication skills Fluency in English (German and French are considered a plus)
