About The Role
Develop comprehensive test plans and execute both automation and manual testing across the platform as our product grows in functionality. Identify test scenarios, test cases, and test data to ensure maximum test coverage for new features and feature improvements. Maintaining test cases and scripts in the Test Management System. Analyze test results and investigate test failures to identify root causes and provide detailed reports. Carryout performance and scale testing, security testing, and accessibility testing as requirements demand. Champion quality assurance and enforce best practices across the entire product team. Understand customer requirements and user experience. Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and engineering peers to identify the non-happy paths and corners. Master product functionalities and implementations and answer technical inquiries from sales/technical support.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science and related fields. 7-9 years of experience working in software QA area. 3+ years of experience contributing to automated test suites in a professional capacity. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and best practices. Experience with automation frameworks or tools, like JMeter, selenium, request, HttpRunner, TESTNG, or fiddler. Proficient in using Python for test script development; Python, automated testing, and agile project experience. Familiarity with performance, security, and accessibility testing. Familiar with MS SQL Server or Oracle or other database systems. Working knowledge of Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools. Experience working with AWS can be a bonus point. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, technical aptitude, attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in large-scale projects testing is preferred.
Salary: $80,000 - 120,000 per year
Location: This position is a fully on-site role.
