Role: Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Role And Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for mission-critical backend services Develop and execute automated tests using Java-based testing frameworks to validate C++ backend services Define and implement testing strategies for functional, integration, system, end-to-end, and non-functional testing Design, execute, and analyse performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests for distributed systems Validate system behaviour under production-scale workloads and identify performance bottlenecks Investigate complex defects across multiple services and environments, driving root-cause analysis and resolution Partner closely with Software Engineers, Architects, and Product teams to ensure quality is built into the development lifecycle Drive quality improvements across CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and release processes Design and implement automated validation for data migrations, data reconciliation, and system modernization initiatives Develop test tooling, utilities, mocks, and simulators to support large-scale testing efforts Evaluate application performance, resource utilization, scalability, and resiliency characteristics Define quality metrics, test coverage standards, and release readiness criteria Contribute to observability and monitoring strategies to improve system reliability and support proactive issue detection Participate in production issue investigations and post-incident reviews to improve platform stability and quality
