About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sr ETL QA Tester with over 7+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL testing, SQL, data validation, and quality assurance processes, with a deep understanding of data warehousing and transformation concepts.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for ETL processes. Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading workflows across multiple data sources and targets. Perform data quality checks and ensure data integrity across systems. Write complex SQL queries to validate data and troubleshoot issues. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure accurate testing coverage. Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools. Optimize SQL queries for performance and accuracy.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 7+ years of experience in ETL testing or a similar QA role. Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with query optimization. Hands-on experience with database management systems (Oracle & Snowflake) Autosys job scheduling, Python Scripting Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, architectures, and ETL processes. Experience with data validation frameworks and data quality tools. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with QA tools like HP ALM, JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
