Full Description
Our Story
The space sector is one of the fastest-growing industries in the world. Thousands of satellites are launched into orbit each year, and the market driving them is experiencing a real boom – with Poland actively participating as a dynamically growing technology hub.
Liftero is right at the center of this transformation. We build propulsion systems for thousands of spacecraft, striving to become a global leader in satellite propulsion – the transport backbone of the space economy. Our goal is clear: to put 1,000 propulsion systems into orbit.
Our flagship product is BOOSTER – a non-toxic, chemical propulsion system designed from scratch for the NewSpace era, which has already successfully been validated in space.
As a scaling company, we combine agility with a long-term vision. Joining us at this stage guarantees a direct impact on the development of space technologies and real co-creation of our products.
At Liftero we fly things!
Position Overview
We are looking for a candidate with a practical technical mindset to help us turn engineering designs into fully operational devices. This role involves assembling, testing, and verifying equipment against documentation, as well as keeping the workshop and test rigs fully operational.
Your Daily Impact
Conducting pressure tests on components and systems. Building and maintaining mechanical/hydraulic test benches in cooperation with the R&D team (equipment servicing, routine component replacements). Operating a CNC milling machine and taking responsibility for its maintenance. Performing basic locksmithing/bench work (cutting, drilling, tapping) as needed. Managing shop floor order, maintaining 5S standards, and taking ownership of hand tools. Supporting engineers during testing, integration, and assembly of propulsion systems.
Is This You?
We are looking for someone with a technical mindset and a hands-on approach. You don't need experience in every single area - if you have solid technical fundamentals, manual dexterity, and a strong drive to learn and take initiative, we’d love to meet you!
What We Are Looking For
Work Mode: Ready to work 100% on-site at our office/workshop facility in Krakow.
Milling Machine Experience: Practical, hands-on experience operating milling machines (including CNC) OR a strong willingness and willingness to learn CNC machine operation.
Workshop Expertise: Solid experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or workshop environment with a strong focus on the safe use of hand and power tools.
Technical Literacy: Ability to accurately read technical drawings (dimensions, tolerances, symbols) and comfortably use measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers).
Quality Assurance: Ability to perform component verification against technical documentation.
Polish: Fluent in speaking and writing.
English: Proficient level (able to smoothly read and understand technical documentation, instructions, and procedures).
Personal Attributes: Strong attention to detail, highly accountable, independent, and initiative-driven.
Less waiting for instructions, more initiative. If you're reliable, sharp with tools, and driven to keep our technical backbone operating at 100% - you sound like a perfect match!
Perks & Advantage
Hands-on experience building stuff that actually flies to space: you'll build, test, and machine real physical hardware that actually launches into orbit and directly see the results of your work in the workshop every day.
Stable Employment: Full-time employment contract + eligibility for the Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP). Private Healthcare.
MultiSport Card: Access to sports and fitness facilities.
Training Budget: Funding for professional courses, training, and certifications.
