Delivery Director – Testing & Quality Engineering

Mode: Work from Office. We at Coforge are hiring a Delivery Director – Testing & Quality Engineering with the following skill-set. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale Testing and Quality Engineering engagements across strategic client accounts. Own delivery governance, quality, SLAs, KPIs, risks, escalations, customer satisfaction, and overall program outcomes. Lead large, geographically distributed QE teams comprising Delivery Managers, Test Managers, Architects, Leads, and Engineers. Drive transformation from traditional testing to modern Quality Engineering and Continuous Testing practices. Define and implement enterprise-level test automation and QE transformation strategies. Drive automation across Web, API, Mobile, Microservices, and enterprise applications. Drive adoption of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, Cloud, and continuous testing practices. Lead innovation and adoption of AI/GenAI-based testing and intelligent automation solutions. Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and participate in executive governance and delivery reviews. Own resource planning, utilization, delivery financials, revenue, margins, and profitability. Partner with Sales and Presales teams for RFP/RFI responses, solutioning, estimations, proposals, and client presentations. Identify opportunities for account growth, QE transformation, automation, and managed testing services. Drive competency development, succession planning, upskilling, and continuous improvement across QE teams. Mandatory Skills Strong experience in Testing / Quality Engineering delivery leadership. Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-location QE engagements and teams. Strong expertise in Test Automation, Automation Strategy, and QE Transformation. Strong experience in functional, automation, API, Web, Mobile, performance, and non-functional testing. Experience with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and Continuous Testing. Strong Delivery and Program Management experience. Strong client-facing and executive stakeholder management experience. Experience in delivery governance, SLA/KPI management, risk management, and escalation management. Strong experience in resource management, utilization, budgeting, revenue, margin, and delivery financials. Experience in Presales, RFP/RFI, solutioning, estimation, and proposal development. Strong leadership, communication, and people management capabilities. Good to Have Skills Exposure to AI/GenAI-driven Testing and Quality Engineering. Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, API automation, or similar automation technologies. Experience establishing or managing a Testing CoE / Quality Engineering CoE. Exposure to Cloud, Digital, Microservices, Data, and API testing environments. Experience driving QE transformation and automation-led productivity initiatives. Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Candidates who can join within 30 days are preferable.
