Full Description

Responsibilities Own PCBA test architecture and coverage strategy, including ICT, Flying Probe, Boundary Scan (IEEE 1149.1), Functional Test, and End-of-Line testing approaches. Review RFQs, schematics, BOMs, specifications, and customer requirements to define a compliant and executable test solution. Develop test estimates covering fixture requirements, test program effort, equipment needs, throughput, station count, retest strategy, NRE, capex, and implementation timelines. Define fault coverage assumptions, DFT requirements, test capacity models, and production test readiness criteria. Establish fixture and interface concepts, instrumentation requirements, calibration strategies, and measurement uncertainty considerations. Prepare technical calculations, coverage analyses, and supporting evidence for proposal reviews, costing models, and management approvals. Support supplier evaluations, test equipment assessments, and make-versus-buy decisions for test solutions and fixtures. Drive alignment across design, process, quality, manufacturing, automation, and supply chain teams to ensure test strategy supports production objectives. Define correlation plans, GR&R requirements, golden-unit governance, and validation methodologies for test deployment. Establish test readiness, traceability, acceptance criteria, and handover deliverables to support NPI and volume production.
