We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards for our software products through a combination of manual and automated testing strategies. You will collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and external stakeholders to review requirements, write comprehensive test plans, design automation scripts, and track software defects throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Review requirement documents, technical specifications, and design documents to provide timely feedback. Design, write, and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Estimate, prioritize, and plan functional and non-functional testing activities to ensure successful deliveries. Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts. Perform web application testing and API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI. Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and differentiate software defects to guide development teams. Record test results, write defect reports, generate test summary reports, and complete all test activities. Adhere strictly to company testing standards, methodologies, and industry best practices. Ensure on-time delivery while communicating project status, risks, and issues to internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field from a recognized university. 01 to 02 years of professional industry experience in a Software QA Engineer role. Sound knowledge of core Software QA concepts, testing methodologies, and web testing technologies. Adaptability to hybrid QA processes involving both manual and automated testing. Practical experience in test automation using Selenium WebDriver. Good working knowledge of API testing with SoapUI or Postman. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder management.
