The Sr. Test Engineer will be responsible for leading and executing testing activities for payment systems within a reputed Abu Dhabi-based Bank. The role requires a minimum of 8 years of domain experience in payments testing and working in an enterprise-level environment.
Job Responsibility
Develop and implement test strategies and plans for payment systems, ensuring comprehensive test coverage. Lead a team of test engineers to execute test cases, conduct system testing, regression testing, and performance testing. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, identify testing needs, and communicate test results effectively. Troubleshoot issues, analyze defects, and manage defect tracking and resolution processes. Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in payments testing.
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in payments testing within the banking sector. Proven experience working in an enterprise-level environment. Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and techniques specific to payment systems. Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively lead a team and interact with stakeholders. Certifications in testing (e.g., ISTQB) would be a plus.
