We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your role will involve designing, implementing, and executing test plans to identify and drive improvements in our software processes. You will work closely with our development and product teams to troubleshoot issues, and you are expected to take a proactive approach in improving our testing processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, and a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle. Strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and exceptional attention to detail are essential qualities for this position.

Responsibilities

Design and implement comprehensive test plans to ensure quality standards are met. Collaborate with development teams to resolve bugs and refine system requirements. Analyze test results to identify patterns and trends in software performance. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard testing tools. Evaluate and enhance test methodologies and practices for maximum efficiency. Participate in code reviews to provide insight on potential areas of improvement. Lead the QA team in conducting thorough regression testing on software updates. Document and track defects using bug tracking software ensuring high quality reporting. Provide coaching and mentorship to junior QA engineers to boost team capability. Work with stakeholders to ensure our products meet user expectations and requirements. Ensure compliance with industry standard quality assurance processes and methodologies. Stay updated with new testing tools and strategies to continually enhance testing processes.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing. Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and scripting languages is essential. Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG is preferred. Proven ability to write and execute test cases and document results effectively. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Technical proficiency in reviewing code and understanding complex software systems. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various internal teams.
