Design, develop, and maintain automated UI/API/E2E tests (Cypress) and manual test cases

Contribute to test automation framework/tool evolution and collaborate with Dev/QA/DevOps in Scrum/Kanban to ensure release stability

🚀 We are hiring: QA Engineer (Hybrid - Bucharest) | Luxoft Are you a QA Engineer with strong skills in Cypress (JavaScript) and a passion for modern microservices & cloud-native architectures? We’d love to have you on board! We are building an OnPrem application running on containerized environments, integrated with a cloud-native infrastructure management platform for enterprise and edge environments.

💼 What you will do

Automation & Manual Testing: Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for API, UI, and E2E workflows using Cypress, alongside designing manual test cases.

Root Cause Analysis: Investigate pipeline failures, debug issues, and analyze log files using monitoring dashboards and system metrics.

Framework Evolution: Contribute to the continuous improvement of our test automation framework and tools.

Agile Collaboration: Work closely with Dev, QA, and DevOps teams within Scrum/Kanban frameworks to ensure top-notch release stability.

🎯 What we are looking for

Test Automation: Solid hands-on experience using JavaScript with modern test automation frameworks (Cypress is strongly preferred).

QA Best Practices: Experience in test case design, requirement analysis, and strong functional/manual testing foundations.

API Testing: Proficient in testing RESTful services, HTTP methods, and JSON payloads.

Tech Stack & Concepts: Microservices architecture, cloud platforms, Git, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, VirtualBox).

Agile Tooling: Proficiency with Jira & Confluence.
