Responsibilities
Translate complex concepts into compelling narratives and visualizations that align stakeholders around NorthStar experience visions. Design using established systems and patterns, including content templates, UI controls, navigation models, and visual design standards. Deliver design artifacts across a range of fidelities-from low-fi sketches to high-fidelity prototypes. Create and maintain design documentation such as storyboards, wireframes, journey maps, personas, task flows, and creative briefs. Champion a customer-centric mindset by synthesizing insights from qualitative and quantitative research. Facilitate and support remote and in-person workshops to drive alignment and ideation. Present holistic solutions that span multiple touchpoints and organizational silos. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design intent is realized from concept through implementation. Use digital and physical tools to communicate design intent and gather stakeholder and customer feedback.
? Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, HCI, or related field AND 8+ years of product/service design experience OR Master's degree in a related field AND 6+ years of experience OR Equivalent practical experience applying design thinking to solve complex problems Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or Sketch
5+ years of experience delivering end-to-end product or service design solutions to customers Design Thinking certification from a recognized institution (e.g., IDEO, IBM, Stanford, Luna, Forrester)
3+ years conducting 1: 1 user research interviews 5+ years facilitating live and virtual Design Thinking workshops 3+ years of experience in the technology sector, especially with enterprise (B2B) customers
