Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a CLEARED Automation Engineer to join government consulting company supporting a fully funded project for the Coast Guard. This offers GREAT remote flexibility out of Alexandria, VA but does need someone local for occasional onsite meetings.
Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and collections to automate configuration and compliance for routers, switches, and firewalls. Implement infrastructure-as-code best practices for repeatable deployments and version-controlled configurations. Incorporate DISA STIG, DoD RMF, and Comply-to-Connect (C2C) standards into automation workflows. Create reusable automation frameworks to support multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Palo Alto, etc.).
3+ years of experience in a network automation role. Strong IaC experience with tools like Ansible or Terraform.
