ETL Tester – Data Testing
Zurich, Switzerland
Fixed term role for 6 months with potential extension
Cognizant is looking for an experienced ETL Tester with strong automation experience to support enterprise data platforms and pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute test cases for data ingestion, transformation, validation, and reconciliation across ETL/ELT pipelines. Build and maintain automation frameworks for data testing and regression testing. Validate data quality using SQL and large-scale datasets. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with Data Engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders. Analyze and troubleshoot test failures and data quality issues.
Required Skills
Strong understanding of Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, and Data Models. Solid experience in ETL testing, including source-to-target validation and data reconciliation. Hands-on experience with test automation, ideally building frameworks from scratch. Strong SQL and data validation expertise. Programming skills in Python, Java, or similar. Experience with CI/CD tools and automated test execution. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
