**Top 3 responsibilities: **

Build end-to-end UI test automation for the Occibo web app

Create test plans/cases and regression suites for core user flows, covering edge cases

Add and run API-level tests; integrate and maintain test suites in CI, tracking/triaging failures

Must-have skills:

2+ years hands-on QA or QA automation experience

Experience with at least one automation framework (Playwright or Cypress preferred)

Strong JS/TS and Git proficiency

CI knowledge and ability to design stable/reliable tests (selectors/test data)

Ability to use AI tools in QA/testing workflows

About Occibo
Occibo is an AI-powered SaaS platform for children's book creation, built by IndieKidz GmbH in Berlin. We are a small, remote-first team looking for a QA Engineer to help us build and maintain automated testing so we can ship new features quickly and with confidence.

Tasks
What you will do
Build end-to-end UI test automation for the Occibo web app
Write test plans, test cases, and regression suites for core user flows
Translate product requirements into automated checks, including edge cases
Collaborate with the development team on test data strategies and stable selectors
Add API level tests to support UI testing and improve overall reliability
Run tests in CI pipelines, track failures, and help keep the test suite stable and maintainable
Use AI tools to speed up test creation, analysis, and maintenance
Document testing processes, findings, and quality recommendations

Requirements
We are looking for
At least 2 years of hands-on experience in software testing or QA automation
Experience with at least one test automation framework — Playwright or Cypress preferred
Comfortable with JavaScript or TypeScript and Git
Understanding of CI pipelines and reliable test design
Experience using AI tools in a testing or development workflow
Fluent English
Nice to have
Prior SaaS UI automation experience
API testing experience with Postman or REST clients
Based in Indonesia or able to work in the Indonesia time zone
