About The Role

As a Test Manager (Healthcare – Facets) , you will make an impact by leading the planning, governance, and delivery of testing activities for healthcare technology solutions. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering team and work collaboratively with client leadership, Cognizant senior management, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to ensure high-quality solutions are delivered on schedule.

In This Role, You Will

Lead requirement analysis, test planning, test strategy development, test scenario creation, test case development, and test execution for Facets-based solutions.

Apply knowledge of Facets, EAM, and application configuration to validate business requirements and support the delivery of customized software solutions.

Establish and monitor test metrics, quality measures, risks, dependencies, and overall testing progress throughout the Software Development Life Cycle and Software Testing Life Cycle.

Conduct test case and test result walkthroughs with clients, communicate testing outcomes, and drive the resolution of identified issues.

Prepare daily and weekly status reports, governance updates, and annual reports, and present testing progress to client leadership and Cognizant senior management.

What You Need To Have To Be Considered

8+ years of hands-on quality engineering and testing experience with Facets within the healthcare payer domain.

Experience with EAM and application configuration.

Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and Software Testing Life Cycle.

Experience with requirement analysis, test strategy, test planning, test metrics, test scenarios, test case development, and test result reporting.

Experience managing testing governance and presenting delivery status, quality metrics, risks, and testing progress to clients and senior stakeholders.

These will help you stand out

Experience leading client-facing test case and test result walkthroughs.

Ability to manage testing activities across business, development, configuration, and quality engineering teams.

Strong reporting, governance, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.

Experience recommending process or technology improvements that enhance quality and delivery efficiency.

Knowledge of healthcare payer applications, workflows, or platforms.
