About The Job You’re Considering
As a Supplier Quality Engineer within our Manufacturing & Operations Practice, you will play a crucial role in ensuring supplier quality excellence across aerospace and manufacturing projects. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement robust quality management systems to enhance supplier performance.
Your role
Implementing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate and guarantee the quality of supplier activities on aircraft assembly sites, providing data-driven insights to drive decision-making Leading problem-solving initiatives and continuous improvement projects using methodologies such as APQP, PPAP, and Lean Six Sigma to enhance the performance of supplier activities Managing and controlling costs of cabin parts repairs through rigorous analysis and liability determination, collaborating with finance teams to ensure cost-effective solutions Conducting comprehensive supplier evaluations, audits, and developing corrective action plans to address quality issues and prevent recurrence Performing root cause analysis for complex quality issues related to supplier activities, implementing sustainable solutions to prevent recurrence Supporting autonomous cross-collaboration within your team and across departments, promoting collective learning and development to drive quality excellence Traveling to supplier sites and manufacturing facilities as needed to conduct audits, resolve issues, and build strong supplier relationships (travel required)
Must Have Qualifications
