Full Description

About the Project An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a DO-178C aerospace programme developing safety-critical software for an aircraft console/display system. The software consists of both SCADE-generated display code and manually developed Embedded C software.

Due to increased verification and validation activity, an additional Software Test Engineer is required to support delivery.

Responsibilities Develop software test plans and test procedures Write and execute test scripts Perform module-level and integration testing Verify manually developed Embedded C software Produce test reports and certification evidence Support DO-178C verification and validation activities Work with software developers and test leads to ensure successful project delivery Support host and target-based testing activities

Essential Experience DO-178B or DO-178C experience Embedded C software experience Software Verification & Validation (V&V) Module, unit or integration testing Strong technical documentation skills Aerospace, Defence, Automotive or other safety-critical industry experience

Desirable Experience NI TestStand Rapita / RapiTest LDRA VectorCAST Tool Qualification System-level testing SCADE environment exposure
