Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Selenium, Java, API Testing, and building robust testing frameworks. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications by designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient automated test frameworks using Selenium and Java.
Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
Perform API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar frameworks.
Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other QA team members to define and implement quality standards.
Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
Conduct root cause analysis and provide detailed reports on test findings.
Continuously improve test strategies and frameworks to optimize testing efficiency and coverage.
Stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and automation trends.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver with Java for UI automation.
5 years of experience as an Automation engineer with Selenium, Playwright, Typescript and JavaScript.
Solid experience in API testing using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or SOAP UI.
Hands-on experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks.
Proficiency in test management tools like TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, or similar.
Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
Familiarity with cloud-based testing solutions and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with performance testing using tools like JMeter or Gatling.
Knowledge of database testing and SQL queries.
