**Top 3 responsibilities: **

  • Plan, prepare, execute, and document environmental tests (e.g., vibration/shaker, tensile, gluing, thermal & TVAC)

  • Acquire, process, analyze, and interpret test data; update test procedures and support reports/certification/production documentation

  • Maintain and extend test facilities: keep equipment operational; develop new/extend test setups; provide testing input to design/projects; coordinate with external partners if needed

  • Must-have skills:

    • Significant hands-on experience in environmental testing, especially thermal/thermal-vacuum (TVAC)

    • Ability to develop and operate complex test beds/automated test setups

    • Use of LabVIEW for automation/data acquisition

    • Strong data analysis and process development capability

    • University degree in a relevant technical field (or equivalent experience); electronics basics helpful for troubleshooting

  • Nice-to-haves:

    • Python skills

    • Experience with certification/knowledge-conservation documentation and interfacing with external partners

Your way into the future Join us as Environmental Test Engineer (m/f/x) and work with us on changing the future! What awaits you at Mynaric You are responsible for the Environmental tests and our broad variety of high-end mechanical test equipment.

Hands-on preparation of tests and their execution will be part of your tasks, as well as the test data acquisition, processing, analysis, and interpretation. As part of our environmental testing group, you elaborate test specifications and procedures in accordance to test standards and requirements in close cooperation with other teams. These tests setups include, but are not limited to

  • vibration tests (shaker)
  • tensile tests
  • gluing tests
  • Thermal and TVAC Tests
  • You keep our test equipment in top working shape in close coordination with our technical staff and the head of testing
  • Extending the capabilities of our test facilities or building entirely new test setups might be part of your job.
  • Depending on the type of test, you are preparing and finalizing the required documents for certification, production, or knowledge conservation. Updating test procedures and helping with proving data for reports.
  • You provide input to our design team and the respective project teams from a testing perspective and feed their input back to the testing team.
  • The communication with external partners for our tests can be part of your job

Significant hands-on experience in environmental testing, especiallythermal andthermal-vacuumtesting. Proven ability to developandoperatecomplextest beds and automated test setups. Practicalexperience withusingLabVIEW for test automation and data acquisition. Experience with data handling, analysis, and process development. Python skills are a plus.
