Software Quality Engineering Manager

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Engineering Manager to lead quality engineering across modern web, mobile, API, and enterprise applications.

This position combines technical QA expertise with hands-on leadership. The ideal candidate has experience building strong quality practices, leading engineering teams, improving automation, and partnering with Product, Engineering, and DevOps to deliver reliable software.

What You'll Do Lead quality engineering across web, mobile, API, and enterprise applications Own testing strategy, release readiness, and overall software quality Lead and mentor QA/QE engineers across internal and distributed teams Drive adoption and improvement of test automation frameworks Coordinate functional, regression, integration, API, and mobile testing Partner with Engineering, Product, and DevOps throughout the software development lifecycle Establish quality standards, processes, and measurable engineering practices Evaluate release risk and provide input on production readiness Improve automation coverage and integration with CI/CD pipelines Support production validation, defect management, and root-cause analysis Work with technical teams to continuously improve application reliability and delivery quality

What We're Looking For Strong experience in Software Quality Engineering / Quality Assurance Previous experience leading or managing QA/QE engineers Experience testing web, mobile, and API-based applications Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and strategies Experience with mobile automation tools such as Appium or comparable technologies Experience with modern automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, WebdriverIO, or similar Understanding of API testing and integration testing Experience incorporating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines Strong understanding of Agile software development practices Experience coordinating releases and assessing production readiness Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
