Testing: test case creation from US/EPIC, multiple testing levels (Sprint/Regression), API testing (REST, SOAP)
Defect/ALM: ALM, JIRA (incl. JIRA plug-ins)
Execution/ops: Linux/Unix, PuTTY, run batch jobs
Data: Oracle or similar relational DB, SQL beyond basic access
Other: mock inbound files vs storyboards, document creation; written/oral communication

**Top 3 responsibilities: **

Create and execute test scripts/test cases (incl. API tests) and produce execution results
Defect management: log/track defects in ALM/JIRA, support issue resolution
Documentation & collaboration: create documentation and participate in meetings/discussions; support project activities (including live Sprint demos)

**Must-have skills: **

5+ years hands-on development/testing; recent hands-on testing experience
Strong analytical ability to break down systems using US/EPIC documentation
Writing test cases from US/EPICS; understanding of Agile testing (Sprint/Regression)
API testing (REST/SOAP), defect tracking (ALM/JIRA), Linux batch job execution (PuTTY)
SQL and relational DB fundamentals (Oracle or similar)
Communication and collaboration; self-driven, detail-oriented; ability to work with clients/team

Full Description

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on development experience.
Has done hands-on Testing in most recent projects.
Proficiency in writing testcases based on US’s/EPICS.
Expertise with defect management tools (ALM) Expertise in various testing levels (Sprint, Regression) in Agile Methodology.
Strong analytical skills to break down complex systems using the US’s/EPIC documentation.
Experience in giving live Sprint demos.
Experience in API Testing (REST and SOAP).
Experience using JIRA or JIRA Plug-Ins as the defect tracking tool.
Experience in running batch jobs in Linux/Unix using Putty.
Hands on experience mocking the inbound files looking at the Storyboards.
Demonstrates hands-on experience with relational databases (such as Oracle or similar).
Displays a good understanding of database principles & write SQLs beyond just data access.
Possesses strong written and oral communication skills.
Must demonstrate strong interpersonal, analytical, and professional skills—such as effective collaboration with clients and team leadership, strong problem-solving abilities, and a self-driven, detail-oriented approach as a team player.
