Join the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) as a Test Engineer and help deliver high-quality digital services that make a real difference to people's lives.
As an embedded member of a multidisciplinary Scrum team, you will be responsible for ensuring quality is considered throughout the development lifecycle. Working closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers and Delivery Managers, you will design and execute tests, ensure requirements are testable, support refinement activities, manage defects, and provide clear visibility of quality risks and outcomes.
You'll play a key role in both functional and non-functional testing, helping the team deliver reliable, accessible and user-focused products. You'll also contribute to our test automation cbrid Working
MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR FACE-TO-FACE INTERVIEW IN BEDFORD 7th or 9th SEPTEMBER*apability by creating and maintaining automated tests that provide fast feedback and support our continuous delivery approach.

Role Overview
The Test Engineer will report directly to our QA Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for
Supporting the overall Automated Testing process, maintaining the framework and supporting the other Test Engineers with their automated testing. You will also contribute to the Automated Regression packs with the tests you create. You will work directly with the Product Teams (Scrum Teams) to support their delivery, while also being part of the QA team and participating in our Community of Practice.

Skills Required
Strong experience in Automation Testing Experience, with the ability to plan, design, script and execute tests Creation and maintenance of Automation Frameworks Creation and maintenance of Regression Library Ability to script Automation tests at a code level, including aspects such as data matrices and cross-browser functionality Experience working as part of a Scrum Team within Agile methodology Experience with Playwright Experience in React Strong capability on multiple languages – Python and Java primarily Ability to communicate with multiple levels of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical Testing Methodology certificate (ISTBA/ISEB, BCS, etc.) preferable.

Flexible Working
