Our client is a leading global investment bank renowned for driving large-scale digital transformation and software engineering excellence across complex, highly regulated enterprise environments. As part of a multi-year innovation and technology modernization journey, they are continuing to scale their client-facing digital capabilities and platform stability within their digital and mobile platforms division, supporting global operations, advisor tools, and high-net-worth client experiences worldwide.

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to drive quality engineering across our client-facing mobile and digital platforms. In this role, you will define and execute the overarching QA strategy, foster best testing practices, and lead quality delivery across web, mobile apps (iOS & Android), APIs, and integrated backend services. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will oversee a high-performing quality engineering team, partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders, and champion quality at every stage of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

QA Strategy & Governance: Define, own, and execute comprehensive quality assurance strategies, test plans, and test automation roadmaps across client-facing digital channels, native mobile applications, and backend API architectures.

Test Automation & Framework Execution: Drive the design and maintenance of scalable test automation frameworks (UI, API, Mobile) using modern automation tools and coding standards to expand automated test coverage across microservices and digital platforms.

Team Leadership & Delivery Execution: Lead, mentor, and coach QA engineers and SDETs across Agile sprint cycles. Manage test planning, release quality, defect triage, and root-cause analysis to ensure risk-mitigated, continuous delivery.

CI/CD Integration & Mobile Validation: Embed automated test suites directly into modern CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to enable shift-left testing. Direct comprehensive mobile testing across devices, platforms, performance, and security benchmarks.

Stakeholder & Risk Management: Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineering Leads, DevOps, and Business stakeholders to align quality goals with strategic business outcomes. Identify risks early and drive continuous improvement in quality processes and governance.

Qualification and Education

Experience & Leadership: Min 7 years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance with at least 3+ years in a dedicated QA Lead or team management role.

Domain Focus: Proven experience leading QA delivery for large-scale, enterprise digital platforms and native mobile applications (iOS and Android). Direct experience within Investment Banking or broader Financial Services enterprise environments is strongly preferred.

Coding Proficiency: Strong hands-on coding proficiency in programming languages such as Java or JavaScript/TypeScript for test automation.

Automation & Tools: Expertise with enterprise automation and mobile testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, XCUITest, Espresso) and API testing frameworks (Postman, REST Assured).

CI/CD & DevOps: Solid experience integrating automated tests into enterprise CI/CD pipelines, with familiarity in cloud environments, database verification (SQL), and test management platforms (Jira, Xray, Zephyr).

Architecture & Agile: Deep understanding of software architectures (REST/GraphQL APIs, microservices) and mastery of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.

Core Competencies: Exceptional technical leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a track record of driving quality advocacy and cross-functional collaboration.
