**Location & work type: ** FIFO 15:13 roster from Perth; Casual/ongoing. Primary location: Perth CBD, WA.

**Stack/tools: **

  • Quality systems/inspection plans (workpacks, job cards, QC coordination)

  • Microsoft Excel (complex data manipulation/analysis)

  • Microsoft Power BI (high proficiency)

  • Project management software/tools (unspecified)

**Top 3 responsibilities: **

  1. Develop/review project quality performance; ensure compliance and effectiveness; implement quality measurements vs benchmarks.

  2. Coordinate QA/QC systems and improvements; schedule/manage quality activities per inspection plans.

  3. Produce quality reporting with trend analysis and mitigation, ensuring timely submissions and team adherence to quality obligations.

**Must-have skills: **

  • Proven QA/QC experience in construction/project environments

  • Electrical background

  • Commissioning and systems completion experience

  • Knowledge of industry standards/regulations/best practices

  • Working knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices

About The Role

UGL are seeking an experienced E&I QAQC Inspectors to join our team on an ongoing casual basis working on a major Oil & Gas project.

Commencing ASAP, you will be working a 15: 13 roster FIFO from Perth.

Key Responsibilities

Provide quality education, advice, and assurance across the project team. Collaborate during the pre-mobilization phase to define quality inputs (e.g., workpacks, job cards) Coordinate quality control systems and identify required improvements. Develop and review project quality performance, ensuring compliance and effectiveness. Implement quality performance measurements against benchmarks. Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Manage and schedule quality activities as per inspection plans. Facilitate quality education sessions for the project team. Address quality challenges and report any issues impacting project outcomes. Ensure timely submission of quality reports with trend analysis and mitigation strategies. Ensure project team adherence to quality obligations. Review and provide input on upcoming scopes of work to ensure quality delivery

About You

Proven experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within a construction or project environment. Electrical background Commissioning and systems completion experience Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Proficiency in project management software and tools. High level proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and Excel including complex data manipulation and analysis. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and industry best practices.
