Full Description
Role Overview: Responsible for ensuring overall engine quality in the Repair Station and Production, focusing on engine and component testing.
Key Responsibilities: Perform inspections, including visual and borescope, and ensure proper documentation for shipment. Verify test plans align with design data, review and support test methods, oversee test system calibrations, troubleshoot test failures, and support root cause analysis.
Qualifications & Skills: BS in aeronautics or mechanical engineering (or equivalent experience), with preferred Part 65 FAA powerplant license. Minimum five years in Repair Station or production, with two in testing. Knowledge of aviation regulations (14CFR Parts 43/145/21), technical writing, design data interpretation, tooling, software (C/C++, LabView), ERP/MES systems, and strong organizational and analytical skills.
Working Conditions: Mix of shop floor and office environments with PPE requirements, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and visual acuity. May involve travel and work in various shifts.
