Top 3 responsibilities:

Assess and review supplier processes (e.g., FMEA, PQCT, MQS) and evaluate initial part conformance via testing/analysis

Support part/process maturity and conformance approvals before sale to meet project timelines

Provide technical support during tool trials and crisis activities; collaborate with suppliers on quality/tooling issues

Must-have skills:

Bachelor’s in Engineering (or equivalent experience)

Proficiency in measurement systems (GD&T, DNT) plus stamping/welding knowledge

Working knowledge of CATIA and Microsoft Office

Ability to learn new technologies; ability to support trials/start-up needs

Full Description
Join our team as a New Model Project Engineer, responsible for evaluating and summarizing project activities, supporting supplier part and process maturation to meet project timelines, and applying engineering knowledge to ensure quality and demand compliance.
Key Duties Include
Reviewing and assessing supplier processes such as FMEA, PQCT, and MQS Managing part conformance approvals before sale Providing technical support during tool trials and crisis activities Collaborating with suppliers to resolve quality and tooling issues Evaluating initial part conformance through testing and analysis Ensuring supplier planning supports production capacity Leading special projects and process improvements
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related experience 0-6 years of experience Proficiency in measurement systems (GD&T, DNT), stamping, welding, CAD software (CATIA), and Microsoft Office Ability to learn new technologies
Working Conditions
Office and remote work with travel (~2-3 days/week, often overnight or internationally) Support during trial builds and potential shift adjustments during start-up phases
