Job Title: Group Manager Advisory Quality Assurance & Business Monitoring

Reports to: Group Head  Advisory Quality Assurance & Business Monitoring

JOB PURPOSE

The Group Manager, Advisory, Business Monitoring & Audit Quality Assurance supports the Group Head in delivering advisory services, conducting business monitoring activities, and implementing audit quality assurance initiatives across affiliates. The role ensures the execution, coordination, and reporting of activities aimed at enhancing internal control systems, improving audit quality, and proactively identifying risks across the group.

JOB  CONTEXT

The role involves hands-on execution of assignments, close collaboration with affiliate audit teams, and timely reporting to ensure audit standards are consistently applied and internal controls are reinforced. The position supports the enhancement of the risk and control environment across the Group through ongoing coordination, monitoring, and evaluation activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Advisory
  • Assist in providing advisory support on internal control, risk, and

  • governance matters.

  • Propose improvement measures based on audit observations.

  • Collect and analyze data from affiliates to support advisory

  • recommendations.

  • Prepare advisory documentation and presentations for senior management

  • review.

  1. Business Monitoring
  • Execute defined business monitoring assignments across affiliates.

  • Perform spot checks and periodic reviews of control processes.

  • Draft reports that highlight control weaknesses and propose corrective

  • actions.

  • Monitor key risk indicators and escalate issues as necessary.

  • Support trend analysis and identification of emerging risks.

  1. Audit Quality Assurance
  • Assess the adequacy and timeliness of corrective actions implemented by

  • affiliates.

  • Track and report on the resolution of audit findings, including overdue and

  • at-risk items.

  • Contribute to peer review exercises and quality assurance review plans.

  • Maintain and update issue tracking tools and databases.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

Background/Experience

Experience

  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in internal audit, compliance, or quality

  • assurance.

  • Experience in the financial sector or working in a multi-affiliate

  • organization is preferred.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks, audit methodologies, and

  • risk management principles.

  • Proficiency in analyzing audit data and generating clear, actionable

  • reports.

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to interact with

  • stakeholders across various levels.

  • Sound organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.

  • Working knowledge of audit software and Microsoft Office tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or

  • related field.

  • Professional certification such as CIA, CISA, or equivalent is an added

  • advantage.
