Tonbo Imaging India Ltd. is looking for a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our Software Engineering team.
Location: Bengaluru
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Department: Software Engineering
Travel: Occasional travel to client locations
About the Role
- We are seeking an SDET with a strong background in software quality assurance and testing, with hands-on experience in C/C++. The ideal candidate will have experience in automated testing, unit and integration testing, system testing and safety-critical software environments.
- Experience in the Avionics or Automotive industry will be highly preferred, with familiarity with DO-178C being a major advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain unit and integration test cases using C/C++.
- Develop and manage automated testing suites and frameworks.
- Perform comprehensive system and software testing.
- Identify, debug, track and resolve software defects.
- Apply software quality practices for safety-critical systems.
- Follow applicable DO-178C standards and processes.
- Work closely with software developers and engineering teams to define testing strategies.
- Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and align testing approaches.
- Travel to client locations when required.
- Document test cases, test results, defects and validation activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of software testing and quality processes.
