Full Description
Objectives To design, develop, implement, and continuously improve automation systems and equipment to enhance production efficiency, ensure product quality and equipment reliability, and support the company’s manufacturing and continuous improvement objectives.
Key Responsibilities In-house design, develop, and implement customized automation systems and equipment according to customers' production and process requirements. Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs, HMI systems, and machine control systems. Perform machine installation, setup, commissioning, testing, and validation along with service engineers on site to ensure equipment meets required specifications. Integrate and troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, sensors, motors, and control system components. Diagnose machine and automation issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective actions. Work closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to improve machine performance, productivity, and process stability including GR&R analysis prior to customer’s FAT & SAT buy-off. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including electrical schematics, PLC programs, machine manuals, and equipment records. Support automation improvement projects, machine upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, safety, and cost effectiveness.
Requirements Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Automation Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience in industrial automation, machine automation, or equipment engineering. Hands-on experience with PLC, HMI, sensors, pneumatic systems, and industrial control systems. Able to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and control system diagrams. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
