Full Description

๐Ÿš› About Qargo Qargo is a cloud-based (SaaS) Transport Management Platform. We are a scale-up based in London and Ghent (Belgium), rapidly expanding across Europe. The platform is an 'all-in-one system', handling everything from initial order entry to final invoicing. It optimises planning and has a built-in AI feature that automates lengthy manual tasks. Qargo is designed to help modern logistics operations run more efficiently, while increasing profitability and sustainability. We're looking for a Product Experience Tester to join our Product team in Ghent. If you're looking to work in an international company in a role that offers autonomy, ownership and impact, this is the role for you! ๐Ÿ’ผ About the Role As a Product Support Officer at Qargo, you'll be the link between our engineering team and the people who actually use our platform every day. As engineering builds new features, our Product Owners don't always have the bandwidth to follow every feature from a true user perspective while it is being built and that's where you come in. Your primary focus will be manually testing new features while they are in development, from the perspective of how our customers actually work: walking through flows end-to-end, and asking the two questions that matter most: does this actually make sense to the person using it, and does it work the way it was meant to? You'll work closely with Product Owners and Engineering to flag what's confusing, broken, or unclear before a feature is released and our customers ever see it.

This is not a product owner role, and it is not a technical QA role either: you won't write code or automated tests. The most technical part of the job is using AI to make our testing better. You'll spend most of your time in Qargo itself, going through a new feature the way a planner or an invoicing clerk would, and writing down exactly where it goes wrong or doesn't make sense. ๐Ÿ”‘ Key Responsibilities You'll manually test new features during development, before they are released, from a user perspective rather than a technical one. You'll check that each feature works as expected, comparing what was built with what the Product Owner described. You'll walk through user flows end-to-end, flagging confusing steps, dead ends, or places where the experience breaks down. You'll review error messages and edge cases for clarity, making sure they actually help the user rather than confuse them. You'll use AI to improve how we test, and maintain our AI-based automated testing so it keeps up with the product as it changes. You'll report findings and collaborate with Product Owners and Engineering to prioritise fixes. You'll build a feedback loop that helps the product team catch usability issues before customers do. โœ… Skills & Experience

A genuine product mindset: you naturally think about the user's experience, not just whether a feature technically works. (must-have) Comfort using business or SaaS applications as a power user; hands-on experience testing or navigating software is a plus. Comfortable working with AI tools; you'll use AI to test features faster and more thoroughly, and keep our AI-based testing up to date. Strong attention to detail and the patience to test thoroughly rather than quickly, and to test the same feature again and again as it changes during development. Background in customer support, account management, UX, or QA is a plus, though not required. ๐Ÿค What We Offer A flexible work environment that accommodates your needs with flexible hours and hybrid working. A green office with a great atmosphere and lots of initiatives, such as board game nights, theme lunches, sports activities, etc. A role with a lot of responsibility, ownership, and tangible impact. The chance to grow with us and achieve your career aspirations.
