Job Role: Senior Testing Engineer

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

Experience: Minimum 8+ years
Roles & Responsibilities
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders (including offshore teams) to understand Oracle Finance workflows (AP, AR, GL, FA, CM) and translate them into test scenarios. Design, develop, and execute functional, regression, and integration tests to ensure product quality and compliance with financial regulations. Create and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright for Oracle Finance applications. Perform hands-on testing activities, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation; develop Unix/Shell scripts for automation. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. Prepare and review test cases, scripts, and test data; ensure adherence to testing standards and best practices. Track and manage defects using JIRA and Octane, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis. Communicate test progress, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders; provide regular updates on test coverage and quality metrics. Deliver detailed test documentation, metrics, and reports to stakeholders for transparency and decision-making.
