About The Role
Impiricus is seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer (SDET) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks and test suites aimed at enhancing the reliability, security, and overall quality of our healthcare software products. You will lead the complete testing lifecycle, integrating automated and manual testing techniques to validate complex applications, identify defects, and analyze data patterns. Your work will ensure our solutions are compliant with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, FDA, and GDPR, and meet the high standards required in the healthcare domain. Collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Scrum teams, you will play a critical role in driving continuous improvement, strengthening release stability, and delivering high-quality software that supports innovation in healthcare technology.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years of proven experience in software QA with a focus on automation testing Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar Experience with API testing tools and frameworks Basic SQL skills for database validation and troubleshooting Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision Knowledge of healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, FDA, GDPR (preferred)
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automation frameworks, pipelines, and automated tests including unit, API, integration, and end-to-end tests Write and execute automated and manual tests; analyze logs, metrics, and defects to identify issues Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements, testing strategies, and acceptance criteria Document test frameworks, test cases, and reporting metrics to ensure transparency and traceability Integrate testing processes into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous delivery of high-quality software Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives Ensure software compliance with healthcare industry regulations including HIPAA, FDA, and GDPR Provide regular updates to stakeholders on testing progress, issues, and resolutions
