**Top 3 responsibilities: **

Define and execute end-to-end QA test plans/cases for functional, regression, and E2E coverage (manual + automated).

Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Java + Selenium WebDriver.

Work in Agile Scrum: participate in sprint planning/reviews/retrospectives and ensure quality is integrated throughout; manage defects in Jira.

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Preferred About the Role We are looking for a skilled and versatile QA Engineer with extensive experience in both manual and automated testing to join our team in Trivandrum. In this role, you will be responsible for defining test strategies, crafting robust automation scripts using Java & Selenium, and executing thorough manual testing to ensure the highest quality standards for our applications.
Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy & Execution: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios covering both manual and automated testing.
Automation Engineering: Build, maintain, and expand scalable automated test frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
Agile Scrum Collaboration: Work actively within a cross-functional Scrum team, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure quality is integrated at every stage.
Defect Management: Identify, isolate, log, and track software defects to resolution using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
Comprehensive Testing: Perform functional, end-to-end, regression, API, and performance testing for complex web applications.
Process Improvement: Continuously refine testing processes, increase test automation coverage, and optimize workflow efficiency.
Cross-functional Communication: Partner closely with developers, product managers, and non-technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and discuss issue resolutions.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong balance of Manual Testing and Automation Testing.
Core Tech Stack: Advanced expertise in Java and hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
Framework Knowledge: Familiarity with test frameworks and build tools such as TestNG, JUnit, Maven, or Gradle.
Testing Expertise: Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing principles, bug lifecycles, and test management tools.
Location & On-Site Presence: Based in or willing to work from Trivandrum.
Language Proficiency: Strong command of English and fluency in native Malayalam for seamless team communication.
Availability: Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period (15 days) are preferred.
