**Role & seniority: ** Senior QA Automation / Database & Data Warehouse Testing (approx. 7–10 years; explicitly 5+ years automation testing)

**Stack/tools: **

  • Databases: MS SQL, MySQL (deep knowledge mandatory), PL/SQL, SQL, NoSQL (incl. query optimization for stored procedures/triggers/UDFs/analytic functions)

  • Testing/Dev: Agile, SDLC, test design/strategy/execution/reporting

  • Automation/CICD/CI tools: CI/CD, automation, Git, REST Assured APIs, Maven, Jenkins/Bamboo

  • Other: Basic networking & security (protocols/ports), Active Directory

  • Top 3 responsibilities:

    • Design and execute automation testing and test strategy for inbound/outbound data warehouse/DB/SQL-oriented solutions

    • Perform MySQL performance optimization: query plan analysis, indexing, tuning, automated/manual tuning, performance measurement

    • Improve data platform performance & reliability, including SQL/NoSQL query/procedure/trigger/UDF optimization

  • Must-have skills:

    • Deep MySQL expertise (optimization/config/performance monitoring)

    • Strong SQL/MS SQL development and testing skills (design, execution, reporting)

    • Solid SDLC understanding; experience with CI/CD automation and Git

    • Strong analytical, organizational, detail-oriented, and written/verbal communication

Job Requirements

Working experience with Relational Database (MS SQL), SQL Development

Experience working in an agile environment.

Experience in testing inbound and outbound solutions in Data warehouse/Database/SQL oriented testing

Solid understanding of SDLC processes, testing strategies and processes

Strong Testing Skills, Testing design, test strategy, test execution and reporting skills,

Possess strong analytical skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge in CICD, Automations, GIT, REST Assured APIs, Maven, Bamboo/Jenkins

Basic understanding of Networking, Security (Protocols and Ports), Active Directory

Profiles with the following experience will be preferred: part of Test COE teams, Python, Mobile Testing, Framework Development experience.

HealthCare knowledge

5+ years of experience Automation testing

Pl/Sql

Optimize & configure MySQL database for optimum performance including the operations of utilities and database features to optimize query plans analysis etc

Configure database for automated manual tuning and analysis for best performance

Measure DB performance for queries and review queries for performance improvements optimize indexes etc

Optimize SQ NoSQL database queries stored procedures triggers user defined functions analytic functions Query Plans etc

Optimize the existing data platform for both performance and reliability

Experience with one or more database performance monitor tooling MySQL Enterprise Monitor Foglight for MySQL SolarWinds Database Performance Monitor Sematext MySQL Monitoring etc

Deep knowledge of MySQL mandatory
