Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Software Tester based in Singarayakonda, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Software Tester will design, execute, and document test cases to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of mecspot’s platforms and tools. Daily responsibilities include reviewing requirements, preparing test plans, performing manual and/or automated tests, and identifying, logging, and tracking defects. The role involves close collaboration with developers and product teams to clarify issues, support root-cause analysis, and verify fixes. The Software Tester will contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality assurance standards to ensure a stable and user-friendly product experience. Qualifications Strong Software Testing and Quality Assurance skills, with experience applying testing principles and methodologies. Hands-on Test Execution skills, including creating, running, and maintaining test scenarios. Ability to design and maintain clear, structured Test Cases aligned with product requirements. Solid Analytical Skills for identifying issues, interpreting test results, and supporting data-driven decisions. Good understanding of defect tracking tools and testing frameworks (e.g., Jira, TestRail, or similar). Familiarity with web or mobile application testing; basic knowledge of automation tools is an advantage. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Organized, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple test cycles and deadlines.
