We are searching for an experienced and forward-thinking QA Tester to join a groundbreaking FinTech project building next-generation payments technology. This is a fully remote role open to candidates based anywhere in Europe. The ideal candidate will be someone ready to take full ownership of QA, driving quality across the entire product lifecycle and shaping the testing culture from the ground up. About the Role You will be joining a highly innovative engineering environment working on cutting-edge payments software. We are looking for an individual excited by the challenge of designing, driving, and delivering end-to-end QA processes with autonomy and authority.
You’ll lead the testing function across multiple squads, build test frameworks, design test scripts, validate user journeys, and work closely with product and engineering teams on release management. This is a role for someone who wants full responsibility and the freedom to create something exceptional. Key Responsibilities Own the entire QA function from day one, setting standards and best practices. Define, prepare, and maintain test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts. Ensure user stories, acceptance criteria, and user journeys are fully tested end-to-end. Build and evolve the testing framework for the organisation. Execute manual and automated testing across web, API, and backend services. Lead regression, smoke, integration, performance, and UAT testing activities. Closely collaborate with developers, product managers & engineering leadership on build quality. Drive release readiness and support release management activities. Identify, document, and track defects through resolution. Proactively improve QA processes and tooling. Required Experience 5+ years QA/testing experience in a fast-paced tech environment.
