Role & seniority: Software Engineer in Test (SDET) / Senior-level QA Automation engineer; focus on test automation, CI/CD, and quality assurance within iLottery platform teams.
Stack / tools: Java or Groovy; testing frameworks: JUnit, Spock, Mockito, TestNG; REST/SOAP web services; CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.; containerization and cloud: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack, AWS/Azure/GCP; test automation across web/mobile; security pipelines (NowSecure/Checkmarx, etc.).
Develop, maintain, and run automated tests and the test automation framework; create tests from acceptance criteria.
Own CI/CD integration for tests (build, test, deploy), manage test environments, and debug deployments.
Collaborate with Product, QA, Dev, DevOps, and Security to improve testability, perform regression testing, and conduct code reviews; contribute to SDLC and reporting.
University degree in CS/IT or related field; 4+ years in Software Engineer in Test, Developer, or DevOps.
Programming in Java or Groovy; experience with JUnit/Spock/Mockito/TestNG.
Web services testing (REST/SOAP); strong coding standards and design awareness; test pyramid mindset.
Excellent English communication; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; planning and coordination of test activities.

What makes this role exciting and challenging Our SET team builds robust and scalable test automation solutions to produce faster and stable releases. We focus on the setup and maintenance of test frameworks along with the creation of pipelines that run under CI/CD model. The team closely collaborates with developers and testers to increase code's testability and improve the deliverables' quality.
Ability to code in at least some of the following programming languages: Java, Groovy
Experience in applying automation frameworks using the following tools: Junit, Spock Mockito, TestNG, or similar Experience in testing and developing Web services (REST or SOAP) A good appreciation of coding standards, and design best practices and a keen desire to apply them Ability to apply the test pyramid during Software Development Lifecycle Experience in estimating, planning, and coordinating test activities Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) Growth Mindset (Manage change, Accept feedback, Resilience, Flexible behavior) Competence to work in a fast-paced environment
