Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is hiring for a Test and Evaluation Specialist position which will provide technical support to the Navy Cyber Warfare Developmental Group (NCWDG). S eeking a proficient test engineer to develop and execute quality-check protocols for our products. The role involves analyzing product features, establishing test parameters, devising tailored quality checks, and documenting the final test processes for our quality technicians.

A successful test engineer should possess comprehensive knowledge of engineering and product design, keen attention to detail, and innovative thinking skills. A first-rate test engineer is expected to formulate straightforward, comprehensive quality-check procedures that guarantee a product's optimal performance.

MUST BE A US CITIZEN*** Requires a current Top Secret security clearance. A CI Polygraph will be required within 6 months.***

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Develop and review test plans, test procedures, and test reports and provide comments, recommendations, and evaluations and be prepared to support all phases of testing from concept development through follow-on T&E events Develop and coordinate test plans Provide independent verification and validation (IV&V) of cyber tools pursuant to operational assessments Develop appropriate test plans for insufficient tests Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of specific test and evaluation experience Must have solid knowledge/operation of MS Office software Must have solid knowledge/operation of MS Office software

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or relevant technical discipline

Training

DAU level 1 Test and Evaluation OR DAU level 1 SPRDE, OR DAU level 1 Engineering (equivalent / alternative qualifications equal to the DAU requirement might be taken into consideration on a case by case basis)

Clearance

TOP SECRET CURRENT/ACTIVE Possess eligibility for access to be upgraded to a TS/SCI in the NEAR future upon hire - (ALL HIRES WILL MAINTAIN AN SCI - MAG Will Upgrade your TS to TS/SCI - IF YOU POSSES THE BACKGROUND TO BE UPGRADED) Be able to successfully pass a Counterintelligence polygraph examination in the future Possess an investigation that is current within 6 years. Personnel who are enrolled in CE will also be eligible

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $180000 to $190000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
