Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with cross functional teams and external partners to push the boundaries of technologies and deliver best-in-class hardware solutions Collaborate with vendor resources to leverage their team and maximize the focus of internal resources on adding value to and differentiating our product Generate analytical models of subsystems and validate them through design of experiments and lab testing Perform static, dynamic, structural and thermal-mechanical analyses to guide design optimization before hardware prototyping
Minimum Qualifications
BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or practical equivalent work experience 2+ years of relevant industry experience or similar Expertise in advanced technologies, focused on consumer electronics products
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience in image sensor validation, including reviewing and authoring formal validation plans and reports Drive and develop methodologies for internally and externally validating systems Familiar with digital image processing, image quality analysis, imaging algorithms Understanding of Machine learning models and FPGA implementation of the models for different tracking applications is a plus Familiar with optical and electrical characterization tools, including oscilloscopes and analyzers Non-image sensors experience (ambient light, IR, and depth) Proficient in developing software or hardware for validation platforms and to support lab automation Lead technical efforts to validate the OTS and innovative image sensors Experience with sensor electrical and functional validation tools, including interface (I2C/I3C/C-PHY/D-PHY MIPI interfaces) and power supply Proficiency with data collection and analysis tools, including Python, MATLAB, and other scripting languages
