Job Summary: Switchgear and Control Techniques Pvt Ltd is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing and validating electrical panels used in switchgear and control systems to ensure they meet both internal and industry standards. Your expertise will help ensure that all products are safe, reliable, and perform optimally under operational conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive testing of switchgear and control panels, including electrical, functional, and environmental tests. Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and protocols based on technical specifications and customer requirements. Perform in-depth inspections of panel assemblies, components, and wiring to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards. Identify any defects or performance issues, document findings, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems. Ensure that all testing activities are conducted in line with safety regulations and industry standards (such as IEC, UL, etc.). Utilize a variety of testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, insulation resistance testers, high-voltage testers) to evaluate electrical characteristics and performance. Provide accurate and timely test reports, including detailed analysis and recommendations for improvements. Participate in the validation and verification of design changes or new product developments. Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to support the implementation of corrective actions for any identified product deficiencies. Ensure that all test results and procedures are thoroughly documented and accessible for internal reviews or audits. Continuously improve testing methodologies and processes to enhance product reliability, efficiency, and compliance. Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to production and engineering teams.

B. Tech in Electrical Engineering.
