Role & seniority: Quality Engineering lead (mid-senior) focusing on product quality in collaboration with manufacturing partners.
Stack/tools: Quality methodologies (statistical analysis, DOE, FMEA), data-driven quality monitoring, audits, quality systems implementation, cross-functional coordination, shop-floor control knowledge; experience with assembly, test, or pack-out processes.
Develop and implement product quality plans for new products at contract manufacturers (CM sites) and manage site-level quality.
Interface with Quality and other teams; coordinate activities with manufacturing partners in China; drive corrective actions and continuous improvements.
Use production and field data to monitor, control, and improve quality, reduce field returns, and ensure lessons learned improve processes.
BS in Electronic/Electro-Mechanical Engineering (MS or MBA a plus); 5–10 years in manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of quality methodologies and tools (statistical analysis, DOE, FMEA).
Excellent written/verbal English, interpersonal/communication skills; ability to lead cross-cultural teams; ability to multi-task.
Experience in consumer goods quality, cosmetic quality emphasis, display/display integration manufacturing.
Experience with manual/semi-auto/auto assembly processes; shop-floor control; data analysis/machine learning familiarity.

DESCRIPTION
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
BS or equivalent experience in Electronic or Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Master's degree, or MBA is a plus. 5 to 10 years of proven experience in Manufacturing Environment Demonstrated technical skills including experience and understanding of Assembly, test, or Pack-out processes.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
In-depth knowledge of quality methodologies with command of tools including statistical analysis, DOE, FMEA, etc. Highly motivated and able to drive closure of issues across cultures. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to concisely understand and communicate issues and manage a team to solution are required. Ability to multi-task, balancing daily activities with project-related activities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. A person with high passion and energy. Experience working in the consumer goods industry where cosmetic quality is as critical as functionality. Experience in display or display integration manufacturing/ quality management is a plus. Experience in handling the manufacturing process of manual assembly, semi-auto, and auto assembly is a plus. Knowledge of shop floor control is a plus. Knowledge of massive data analysis, and machine learning would be a plus.
