Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Automation Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of robust and scalable test automation frameworks. This role requires deep technical expertise in Selenium, JavaScript, and test architecture, as well as a strategic mindset to drive innovation and best practices in test automation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities : & Design

Design scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation testing frameworks for web and enterprise applications. Architect end-to-end automation solutions integrated with CI/CD pipelines.

Automation Leadership

Lead the automation strategy and implementation across multiple projects. Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and development teams to align automation with business goals.

Technical Execution

Develop automation scripts using JavaScript with tools like Selenium, WebDriverIO, Cypress, or similar. Integrate automation suites with Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or equivalent. Implement BDD/TDD practices using Cucumber, Mocha, Jasmine, or equivalent frameworks.

Mentorship & Governance

Mentor junior QA engineers on automation best practices. Define and enforce automation testing standards, code reviews, and quality gates.

Performance & Optimization

Ensure automation scripts are optimized for speed and stability. Monitor and report on test coverage, automation metrics, and ROI.

Mandatory Skills: Testing Expertise : - Deep understanding of automation testing methodologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.

Selenium: - Hands-on experience in developing robust automation scripts and frameworks using Selenium WebDriver.

JavaScript: - Strong programming skills in JavaScript, including ES6+, Node.js ecosystem, and asynchronous programming.

Architectural Expertise: - Proven experience in designing scalable automation frameworks across diverse technology stacks.

CI/CD Integration: - Expertise in integrating automation suites into modern CI/CD pipelines.

Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: - Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and suggest practical solutions.

Preferred/Good To Have

Experience with cloud testing platforms like BrowserStack, Sauce Labs Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) Exposure to AI/ML in testing ISTQB or similar certifications Agile/Scrum experience

Soft Skills

Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and influence cross-functional teams Excellent documentation and presentation abilities
