At MLT, we create solutions by empowering our people to fulfill their passion for service. In support of our customer, we are seeking a Test & Evaluation Engineer with experience in supporting (DOD Federal acquisition programs; knowledge of policy/principles/organizational protocols).
Job Duties
- Program support and coordination obtaining test cost and schedule estimates to support program planning without obligating funds.
- Coordinating with Government and non-Government test agencies to schedule test facilities, materiel, and personnel.
- T&E Documentation Development. Developing, reviewing, and updating T&E documentation, not limited to TEMPs, eTEMPs, Test Annexes, test strategies, test plans, test procedures, test schedules, and Test Reports.
Test Event Support
- Providing inputs into the preparation, execution, and closure of TRRs, to include development, review, and update of associated documentation.
- Providing continuous support during test events, acting as a safety observer, and assisting with the development of TIRs. Hosting daily TRBs to review TIRs during testing.
- Analyzing test and evaluation artifacts.
- Supporting post-test data reduction and analysis and providing input to the RTM following each test event.
- Drafting, staffing, and submitting CDRLs for Government review.
General responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Plans, schedules, conducts or coordinates detailed phases of the engineering or scientific work in a project or performs work that involves conventional engineering or scientific practices.
- Typical work may include research, development, design, testing, logistics, analysis, production, maintenance, operation, planning, estimating, application, or standardization of engineering facilities, systems, structures, software applications, firmware, processes equipment, devices, or materials.
- Generates specifications or plans to support the development of acquisition documentation.
- Supports technical findings, opinions or recommendations.
- Performs customer liaison, makes presentations and attends customer meetings.
- Consults with stakeholders on technical applications to support program management decisions.
Education/Experience
- BS/BA Diploma Required
- 3-6 Years of Work Experience Related to Acquisition Competency/Task
- Working knowledge of DoD 5000 test strategies, test procedures, and test scheduling processes, as well as the USMC Integrated T&E Handbook.
Specific/Preferred Requirements
