We are looking for a Mid-Level QA Engineer, in this role you will play a key role in enhancing our quality assurance practices. Your expertise in testing .NET Core backends, ReactJS frontends, and React Native mobile applications will help ensure our software delivers exceptional performance and user experience.

Collaborating closely with the Technical Lead, Senior Software Engineers, and Head of Technical Services, you will implement robust testing strategies and contribute to our culture of quality and innovation.

A Little About You...

Relevant Work Experience

3+ years of experience in software quality assurance Experience in testing .NET Core backends, ReactJS frontends, and/or React Native mobile applications. Familiarity with BDD frameworks, such as SpecFlow with .NET Core/C#. Understanding of API testing and ability to write automated API tests. Skills in SQL for complex queries and data manipulation. Experience with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity or Jenkins. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) for testing purposes. Knowledge of WCAG standards and experience in accessibility testing. Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

Technical Skills

Knowledge of performance testing tools and methodologies is a plus. Understanding of security testing principles and practices. Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git. Experience with the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence) for test management and documentation.

About the role...

Participate in functional, regression, smoke, and performance testing to achieve comprehensive test coverage. Assist in implementing testing frameworks and strategies that align with our CI/CD pipelines using tools like TeamCity or Jenkins. Conduct API testing, ensuring thorough validation of application functionalities. Utilize SQL knowledge for data validation and backend testing. Work closely with developers and the Marketplace Integration Team to prioritize, debug, and resolve issues efficiently. Contribute to ensuring compliance with WCAG standards and promote accessibility testing to uphold inclusive design principles. Participate in code reviews and contribute to enhancing testability and quality in software design. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in test automation and QA methodologies. Contribute to continuous improvement, implementing innovative solutions to enhance product quality and team efficiency.
