Full Description

We are seeking a QA Lead or Associate QA Lead Engineer with a strong interest in both automated and manual testing for modern web and mobile applications. This role is ideal for someone who not only enjoys hands-on testing but also wants to take ownership of quality processes, guide other QA engineers, and help shape test strategy as the product grows.

The ideal candidate has solid experience testing web and mobile applications, a good foundation in automation using tools like Playwright, and a strong attention to detail. You should be comfortable working closely with engineers and product teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, while steadily improving QA standards and practices.

Required Qualifications 6+ years of experience in QA testing for web and mobile applications Experience in a QA Lead, Associate Lead, or senior QA role with ownership of test quality Proven hands-on experience with Playwright automation Strong background in manual testing, including exploratory, regression, and edge case testing Experience testing applications with .NET backends and Next.js frontends Proficiency in testing REST APIs and validating responses Good working knowledge of SQL for data verification and validation Familiarity with Jira, Postman, Swagger, or similar QA and API tools Experience testing iOS and Android applications Understanding of responsive design and accessibility testing Strong communication skills with the ability to document and explain test findings clearly

Key Responsibilities Lead and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of automated test suites using Playwright Own and oversee manual testing efforts, including regression, exploratory, and UI testing Define and improve test strategies, test plans, and overall QA processes Review test coverage and identify gaps across frontend, backend, APIs, and databases Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and edge cases Mentor and guide QA engineers, providing feedback on test cases, automation, and best practices Perform cross-browser, responsive, and accessibility testing to ensure consistent user experience Conduct API testing using Postman or Swagger and validate data using SQL Log, track, and manage defects in Jira with clear reproduction steps, impact analysis, and prioritization Support performance, stability, and reliability testing initiatives Act as a quality advocate throughout the development lifecycle

Nice-to-Have Experience with BDD and SpecFlow Exposure to messaging or communication platforms Familiarity with real-time technologies such as SignalR or WebSockets Experience with performance testing tools Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based workflows Familiarity with AI-based productivity or testing tools
