Role Summary
As a Lead QA Engineer at Group Bayport, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and stability of our e-commerce platforms, built on Magento and other customized modules. You will work closely with the development and product teams to test and validate product features, identify bugs, and ensure that each release meets the highest standards of quality and functionality. You will be responsible for both manual and automated testing processes, ensuring robust testing strategies across our product suites.

Educational Qualification and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience. 8+ years of experience in quality assurance testing, with a strong focus on e-commerce platforms (experience with Magento is a plus).
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including unit, integration, regression, and UAT. Experience with API testing (Postman, SoapUI) and database testing (SQL). Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). Experience in performance testing using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar. Proficient in bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar platforms. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum teams. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across departments. Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and microservices architectures. Knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript. Experience with data analysis and reporting tools. ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
