Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Test Team Lead (Manager) with over 15 years of expertise in networking, network security engineering, and software quality assurance. You will lead our QA initiatives, ensuring our SASE features meet the highest standards of reliability and security from concept through release.

Key Responsibilities

Manage, prepare, and execute comprehensive feature test plans for cross-team networking and security features. Simulate and investigate customer use cases in complex, real-world network environments. Lead and participate actively in pre-release regression cycles, preparing regression content across multiple teams and executing tests collaboratively. Monitor and drive quality improvement initiatives through KPIs, including bug escaping rates, test coverage, and adherence to a zero-bug policy. Mentor and guide your QA team to follow best practices in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), promoting quality and accountability. Investigate escaping bugs and provide thorough root cause analyses (RCA) to prevent recurrence. Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely and meaningful feedback to ensure quality from the earliest stages. Maintain transparent and clear communication on testing progress, quality status, and risks to stakeholders and leadership. Stay current with advancements in networking hardware, protocols, and cybersecurity trends to keep the QA approach aligned with evolving technologies.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

15+ years of hands-on experience in networking and/or network security engineering with in-depth knowledge of protocols such as IPSEC, VPN, VRRP, BGP, OSPF, HTTP, TLS, and TCP/IP. Minimum 5 years’ experience in planning, configuring, and building networks from scratch involving top vendor devices. At least 5 years of solid experience with various software QA testing types (functional, non-functional, regression) and QA methodologies. Hands-on expertise in manual and automated testing with strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience mentoring and managing high-performing QA teams. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to integrity and professionalism. Relevant certifications such as CCNA, JNCIA, or CCSE are a plus. Experience testing web applications is advantageous.
