What you will be doing We are seeking an experienced Workflow & Automation Engineer (Consultant) to join our Team. You will blend technical depth with consulting skills to identify, design, and implement streamlined workflows and automations that drive measurable impact for our clients and internal teams.
Ensure robust operations: retries, idempotency, error handling, monitoring, and documentation.
We need you to have Must-Have’s 3+ years in technology consulting or similar role focused on workflow automation and process optimization. Strong interpersonal abilities to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, fostering trust, guiding and training them through the automation process. Empathy for organizational impact, ensuring successful adoption and alignment with stakeholder needs. 2+ years hands-on software engineering building integrations in TypeScript or Python. Hands-on expertise with low-code orchestration platforms (n8n strongly preferred; experience with similar tools is a plus). Solid API integration skills, authentication, and working with JSON/webhooks. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Git, CI/CD, containers such as Docker) and major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure). Ability to produce high-quality technical specifications, process flows, and implementation plans. Knowledge of security and compliance (GDPR, data minimization, access controls, etc.). Excellent communication skills in German and English (business-fluent); able to explain complex topics to non-technical audiences.
Nice-to-Have’s Practical experience integrating LLMs and AI into workflows, including prompt design and guardrails. Observability and reliability practices (logging, monitoring, alerting, OpenTelemetry/Prometheus/Grafana). Infrastructure and platform familiarity (IaC such as Terraform, Kubernetes/Helm) for scalable automation deployments. Background managing full project lifecycles, including scoping, estimation, risk management, and stakeholder reporting.
