Roles & Responsibilities
Develop, script, and execute automated regression tests using Selenium WebDriver or other automation frameworks. Write, modify, and optimize SQL queries for data validation, testing, and troubleshooting. Write clean, efficient code in at least one programming language (Java, Python, etc.) for automation scripts. Test both web applications and non-GUI applications (such as flat files, XML files, etc.) to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability. Conduct API testing using tools like JMeter, Postman, or other relevant tools to validate services and endpoints. Work with development teams to ensure that all requirements are captured and testing is done accordingly. Manage and track test cases and defects using JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar management tools. Participate in Agile (Scrum) ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, product, and business) to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. Develop, maintain, and update automated test scripts to support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Ensure that test documentation is up-to-date, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports. Troubleshoot issues identified during testing and assist developers with root cause analysis.
Required Skills
